Visitors are always welcome at our Sunday services. Whether you live in the area, or are just visiting, we would be pleased to see you. At Lillington Free Church our desire is to discover, develop, and deepen our experience of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Sunday morning worship lasts around an hour. Services are structured, but the atmosphere is always relaxed. Services are either led by our own Minister or by one of our regular visiting speakers from around the area. Our hymns range from traditional to the more contemporary, and are accompanied by one of our keyboard players, and sometimes a guitar. We always include a special slot with a short story for the children. A creche is available for any small children present, and we have a Junior Church for the older ones. On the third Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, and all believers are welcome to participate. Bible reading is important to us, and our speaker will explain and apply the passage to our lives. It is customary for us to take up an offering. This is for members and friends, and it is unnecessary for visitors and guests to contribute unless they wish to. After morning service there is time for people to stay and chat over refreshments, when they can share the week’s news, encourage one another, and meet visitors. It is important to us that our worship equips us for everyday life. We are committed to the ministry of all believers, releasing the gifts of our members to serve the wider community and beyond for the love of Christ.
